Life is good...

Life is good, inspite of everything that occured yesterday, I can honestly say that I am content with my life and it is good. I know that bad days are going to happen but life goes on and I hope that people will try to realize that petty things are not the end of the world. So far today has been amazing... slept in, talked to my mom on the cell, went to lunch with my amazing hubby at Red Robin, return something at Target with him and then took him back to work, I then came home to print off my last paper in my nursing class for this semester and now just blogging and reading a little in my comm class before going to school at 5. The only bummer to today is going to work tonight as well but I can deal, I like my job and am very thankful to work with great people! On days where I am facing a 12 hour shift as well as class if I can say life is good then it really must be :)

On another note, only 2 weeks or so left in this semester! I can't believe how fast this program is flying by! So far I have learned a lot and love every moment of it! I am thankful that I am able to do it before we start having babies and I know that all this hard work will pay off in the end! Only a year left! or well 6 semesters after this one! I did have the weeks all counted down but I lost count! Im excited to see what the future holds... clinicals start the 3rd week in February and I can't wait!

Snow Day!

Woke up early today to work on homework before two test tonight in my two classes. Although when I looked out our patio door the weather seemed to portray a different scenario, I would not be going to class tonight or rather I would not be going anywhere. Luckily Alex doesnt have to go into work until 5 so this snow day has been filled with extra time spend with my hubby! Making spaghetti for lunch because well we have nothing else to make in our house. I knew going to the grocery only when I needed something was going to catch up to me. I guess I need to start planning ahead a little bit, but on the other hand atleast everything I make is fresh. Chicken Picante w/ brown rice and homemade bread is better with fresh ingredients than with stuff bought a week prior... so maybe I'll just watch the weather and prepare for snow days by buying a few extra items for meals. I have been cooking a lot lately, which has been healthier and easier on the wallet. Its been nice spending the extra time with my love as well!

Back to normal...

School starts back up tomorrow. I have rather enjoyed having two weeks off from school to just only have to worry about work. Sometime's it is rather difficult juggling being a wife, student and working all at the same time, I am just greatful to have a very supportive husband to help out with everything during stressful situations. I can't believe how fast time flies by. As of tomorrow we have been married for four months. Seems just like yesterday we were going throught the stressful wedding planning and dealing with difficult people. I don't think school, work and being a wife even begins to compare to the stress we both felt during that time but so thankful that its over and our life together has begun.

On the brighter side, I have had some time to work on some crafts lately. I am finishing up a valentines day door decoration and also knitting various items. I recently listed an item for sale on etsy, planning on adding some more items soon. I love that I have been blessed with a creative side, I love being able to create things and I know that I can use this talent to produce something great... someday!
