Best Gift EVER!

This was my big gift this year! The NookColor from Barnes and Noble!

I had originally wanted an Ipad but after much research I decided this was what I really wanted.  I showed my hubs and that was that.  It was ordered, arrived and I had my Christmas gift in my hot little hands ready to play.  Yes, I didn't wait and no it wasn't wrapped under the tree but it was my Christmas gift, I just opened it a little early.  I love it to say the least.  I lay awake at night reading while my husband is sound asleep till all hours of the morning.  It's a sad little affair but it's just so nice to not have to have the light on bothering him while I'm busy reading away.  The free Friday books so far have been great and I love not paying for them.  I have bought a few books and am excited to dive into a new one that I have my eyes on... once I finish the other three or four I am reading at the moment.

I also love the fact that I can facebook, blog and check my school blackboard from this handy-dandy little guy! One thing that is not so great is that you cant watch videos on it but well we have the laptop for that!

If you are looking for a reader this is definitely worth checking out.  They have it at Wal-Mart, Best Buy and of course Barnes and Noble where you can actually hold it in your hands and play with it.... beware the little cord that is attached does set off an alarm and might be a little sensitive which ultimately results in a beeping noise and lots of eyes on you!
