Giveaway for 100th post! (Closed)

WOOHOOO! I made it to my 100th post!!

So I decided to start the giveaway today! I was so excited that I couldn't wait till Monday! (Imagine that me with no patience!)

So the first item is going to be a scarf! In the colors of your choice! Handmade by me! If you pick a color that I have in stock it will be mailed sooner but usually it only takes me a day or two to complete one so no problems there!  Would make the perfect gift if you can resist keeping it for yourself!

Next in the package will be a 5x7 silhouette of any picture you would like (it comes with a mat so it will fit any 8x10 frame or you can remove the mat and put it in a 5x7 frame)! I can do just about any picture but not all seems to come out so great so I will send a email proof to the winner just to make sure its to your liking!

The last item in the giveaway will be my ruffled purse (that I made of course) and you can pick the colors on that as well!  I will post a picture of it hopefully later today (if not tomorrow)!

I should have called this the completely custom giveaway! It's valued at approximately $60, so what a great deal, use part of it for a gift and keep the rest or give it all away, its completely up to you!

Struggling!

I am struggling staying awake anymore! It's 1:22 in the afternoon and I feel like I need a long nap! No I didn't get up super early, I mean it was 5:50 am or something like that when my hubby nudged me awake so I wouldn't be late for my shadowing thingy! (The alarm is on his side of the bed... I have a tendency of turning it off when its within my reach, when I'm sleeping causing me to not get up... so the alarm is now and forever will be his "job!") I haven't done much today for me to be extremely tired! I do believe working 3rd shift has ruined me and my sense of sleeping time! Hmm I certainly hope that its just the 3rd shift change over that is causing me to be so tired!?!  Or maybe its just the time of year!? How are you all doing with this time change nonsense? It gets dark at 5:30... not sure how I feel about that yet but I'm not a huge fan!

I registered for classes this morning at a bright and early 6:15 am! Just have one more class to register for and I should be good to go! I had to register for two classes that I don't really need just to get my financial aide which I really don't agree with, they will pay for me to take 12 credit hours but not just 7? Not sure how that makes any sense because 7 is less than 12 obviously especially when it comes to the cost of each credit hour! Oh well only a term and half left!

This is post 99! Not sure yet what I am giving away but I promise it will be good and you will love it! I'm thinking maybe a ribbon scarf and a 5x7 silhouette of a picture of your choice! What do you think? Would you like that giveaway?  Let me know and if you have any suggestions please share!

Giveaway wk 4

This week I'm giving away an afgan made by yours truly!  There's nothing better than cuddling on the couch under a warm afgan and since winter is right around the corner (yikes!) it will be the perfect addition to any home.  The one I'm giving away is in colors "Earth & Sky", I will post a picture sometime tomorrow of it so you can see the colors but its two shade of browns and two shades of light blue.  Might even be good for a baby room, that is if you have a baby!

My name is Anne Potter. I am a stay-at-home mom to five children (ages 15,10,8,2,2). My husband and I are both from the Chicago area, but now we live next to cornfields in downstate Illinois. I have a degree in English from the University of Illinois, but I haven't wanted to read a book since I graduated. I have been "making things" for as long as I can remember. I love to work with lots of different media. I love to knit, crochet, sew, quilt, bead, even paper, so my shop is full of jewelry, accessories, home decor and holiday pieces. Inspired by vintage and second-hand materials, I use as much recycled materials as possible. Sometimes I am inspired first by a material (vintage seam binding, or great jewelry findings) and create a piece based on these items. Other times, I have a project in mind, and try to create the piece using materials on hand.
